PC Memory

When it comes to PC memory, generally speaking the more memory you can install the better. Memory has a direct impact on your computer's operating speed and response times. Increasing the amount of memory increases the number of concurrent operations your PC can process meaning you can run more programs simultaneously.

Every software application you install on your PC will have minimum memory requirements and many programs, including your operating system are particularly memory hungry. You should ensure you have sufficient memory installed to cater for all your software with room to spare. There are a few tell-tale signs that your PC may be running low on memory. These include programs not responding or taking ages to load, display issues such as partially loading pages and system freezes or crashes. If you’ve noticed any of these symptoms, it may be time to consider a memory upgrade.
